Must visit: Black Cultural Archives Exhibition

It’s October, the month that we remember and honour our black history nationally and worldwide. Without the contributions, events and movements led by significant figures such as Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr and many others, we would not be where we are socially and politically today.

Color Blind took a trip down to the Black Cultural Archive in Brixton to witness the “Re-imagine: Black Women in Britain “ exhibition. The exhibition created a doorway into the discovery of women of African decent living in Roman Britain, allowing us to imagine what their life would have been like through traces they had left through libraries and archives of materials.

The exhibition is open until November 20th, admission is free and we highly recommend you visit!
